Manage Kinze's intellectual property portfolio through outside counsel and advise Kinze ownership, senior management and business units on intellectual property acquisition, protection, and enforcement matters.

Serve as the primary point person for Kinze’s foreign ethics and compliance programs, ensuring the company exercises due diligence and sound internal controls to operate with integrity and protect against legal risk. Implement and maintain Kinze’s Export Compliance Program, including compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and applicable export controls. Monitor political and legal developments regarding countries of business significance to Kinze and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including: Export Administration Regulations, CE directive, EAC/GHOST-R certification, consumer safety and various transportation regulations. Review and draft contracts, foreign dealership agreements, internal export control and anti-corruption policies, provide training, and advise employees on legal and regulatory issues related to foreign vendors, projects, and sales and marketing. Coordinate and manage outside counsel on special projects to ensure corporate objectives are obtained in a timely and cost efficient manner.
