I was in control of the finances for The Oxford Majlis alongside being a core committee member. My responsibilities involved:- Attending a weekly meeting with all other core committee members to give an update on our financial situation- Delegating tasks to a team of 7 junior finance officers- Ensuring events were being booked in the most efficient way possible- Organising sponsorships, donations and partnerships.
