Picfair is a multi-faceted photography platform that connects amateur and professional photographers with buyers. After two years of building the product, Picfair acquired me to find their audience and generate revenue. After an initial period of researching customers they had acquired organically I focused on the publishing sector and very quickly built strong relationships with leading players such as Hearst, Bauer and Conde Nast which led to our first blue chip covers and our first regular customers. Since then I have secured over 500 new customers who now regularly use Picfair.In the interest of generating revenue, whilst improving the service delivered, I spearheaded the build of multiple products during my time at the company. These included - a monthly billing and invoicing feature that gave us the ability to work with bigger clients, a set price deal feature that allowed us to compete for annual contracts, high resolution watermark free previews for magazine publishers and a global assignment network so we could commission our photographers.

Student Beans has developed a piece of software that allows brands to offer verified student discounts from their own websites, they then advertise these discounts through their network of publishers that have a combined reach of 10 million student visits per month.My role was to source, engage and sign exciting new brands onto the Student Beans platform. In my time at SB I signed the likes of Protect Your Bubble, Dixons Carphone and Photobox amongst many others while growing existing accounts; the largest of which was Apple.

Craved is a start-up that curates the very finest craft food and drink from around the UK and sells it online. My job was to build and head up the corporate gifting side of the business from the ground up. 80% of all corporate gifting is done in the Christmas season so with a very limited time period I decided on a three pronged approach: targeted calls, targeted mail outs and a major LinkedIn campaign. This process was well structured and calculated while remaining fluid so as to adjust to the changing requirements of a start-up.
