About Jay Dipakbhai Patel
I am a motivated individual, inspired to work in the regime of physics and thereby contribute to the scientific society to meet the future challenges. I am a good learner and a keen curious to know the workings of the nature through the language of physics. My area of interest is particularly in Experimental Physics, Nuclear physics, High energy Physics, Material science and have generated a love for a search of new periodic table elements. In the far-sighted application, from domain of physics, I am interested in nuclear medicine and medical physics. I am also an avid musician who loves to play instruments and sing Indian classics and pop music.

Studentisch Hilfskraft/ Master'S Student
pursuing master's thesis and working as a student in Superheavy Elements Physics (SHP) group.
Graduate Student Assistant
Summer Intern
The project work under Penning ion trap section at VECC involves studying the possible changes of the alpha decaying Isotopes implanted in different lattices like of Pb, Pd and Si. The data would be obtained by performing an experiment at Variable Energy Cyclotron (VEC) facility. It is presumed to see a few percent of change in alpha decay rate, when the isotope is under external compression.
Remote Project Student
This project work included studying and finding the decaying Isotopes produced in the MNT reactions. This spectroscopic investigation of the isotopes produced near the N = 126 shell closure was of interest to know more about the stability of the Super heavy elements formed near the valley of stability.
Research Project Student
Nature has posted us with very unique and strange elements, which we allocated in fine arrangements in a periodic table, the spectroscopy study of it in x ray region of the spectrum is what i study and trace out if there exist some very hidden fundamental behaviour of atoms by EDXRF method.
