CurrentReporting to Vice President (Maintenance), No. of Direct Reportees: 9 Nos., my Responsibilities/ Nature of Work is: • Ensuring scheduled and unscheduled offline Vibrations and Bearing Temperatures Monitoring of Rotary Machines like High-Speed Multistage Pumps, Compressors, Blowers, Fans, Motors, Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines and Gear Boxes in Urea, Ammonia, Power Plant, Utilities and offsite.• Online Vibrations and Bearing Temperatures monitoring of Critical Rotary Machine on Bentley Nevada Machine Monitoring System – MMS System-1.• Reviewing and analyzing Vibration Velocity, Acceleration, Spectrum and Waveforms data and reporting the critical observations to concerned Operations and Maintenance Departments.• Maintaining Data Base of Rotary Machines with Software Based Pruftechnik VibExpert-II Vibration Analyzer. • Visual Inspection, Thickness and Hardness Measurement, Thermal Monitoring of Refractory Walls and Temperature Monitoring of Primary Reformer Catalyst Tubes.• Coordinating with Maintenance and Production Department for appropriate action based on Condition Monitoring.• Providing Class Room Training and On-the-Job Training to engineers and technicians with overall Supervision of Condition Monitoring activities for Rotary as well as Static Equipments.• Set up of Condition Monitoring Program, Inspection Procedures/SOPs, Preparation and implementation of Inspection Schedules for Rotary Machines, Static Equipments and Piping. • Establishing inhouse Condition Monitoring/ Inspection department by assessing the requirement and coordinating for recruitment of Manpower, purchasing NDT instruments and hiring contract services. • Daily work allocation to Quality Engineers for monitoring critical inspection activities and supervision of contractors and PMC inspection activities.• Overall handling of all Quality related activities for LSTK and Non-LSTK Project works for Ammonia Plant, Urea Plant, Captive Power Plant and other Offsite and utilities.
