Research and discovery are my passions. I look forward to elucidating each unknown and to working with my colleagues to advance early phase drugs to human trials. My most recent position as associate director of biophysics at Faze Medicines involved utilizing biophysical techniques to elaborate lead programs in neurology and oncology. In addition, I developed plans for new drug discovery programs.Prior to Faze I worked in immonology as a translational scientist at Janssen Pharmaceuticals and in several different drug discovery and development roles at Momenta Pharmaceuticals. Throughout my career I have always enjoyed the problem solving aspects of research and the process and planning that leads to successful research programs..I currently lead a program at Momenta with a group of researchers looking to optimize the characteristics of glycoprotein therapeutics through in vitro and in vivo manipulation.While I enjoy managing programs, I also relish laboratory work and am well-versed in current techniques used to study biomolecular interactions (Biacore), CRISPR genome modification, gene expression analysis (both wet-lab and data analysis workflows).
