Summer position at Whispers, worked the floor alone, opened and closed on shifts and was responsible for balancing till and restock and consistency in sales books. Made sure sales went through and customer satisfaction. Duties included stock counts, till, cleaning duties and other housekeeping duties.

Peer elected Board member of the Thompson Rivers University Students Union, advocated for students on appeals, policy meetings and Faculty Councils. Sat on the President's Sexual Assualt Task Force at Thompson Rivers University, and worked on numerous appeals and even had a position on the Student Caucus. Proudly say on the TRUSU Equity committee and worked with the committee to bring the 4th Annual Pride Parade at TRU and a resource fair for students and community members, as well as other visible minority constituencies on campus. Also got involved in further campus and institution politics and openly worked on deconstructing oppression within the institution.
