Launched and managed the identity of Instil Drinks Co, which is Bibendum Wine Ltd.’s specialist spirits agency that represent a handpicked portfolio of standout spirits, liqueurs and beers. I was responsible for implementing a new marketing process, structure, corporate identity and means of evaluation to a team of seven, reaching right through to sales execution ensuring growth of the business and a strong, professional presence in the B2B market.Instil Drinks Co has sole distribution rights for it’s brands in the UK and is responsible for their continued sales growth and brand development. As well as managing the corporate growth and structure of Instil, my role was to develop and deliver the brand strategy and activation for 12 brands within the portfolio, which included Crystal Head Vodka, Plantation, Citadelle and Coopers. Growth targets were achieved for all brands through effective management of budgets, brand plans and working as part of a fantastic team of individuals who all possessed the necessary sales, brand development and networking skills.

Funkin Ltd is the leading fruit puree and cocktail mixer company in the UK, selling premium cocktail ingredients to the on-trade, retail and travel markets. Established by founder Alex Carlton, I was a part of an initial team of 3 when I joined. The company is now the top selling puree brand in the UK, has expanded into 30 export markets and was sold in 2015 for £21M to AG Barr.As Marketing Director I was responsible for cultivating the brand DNA for the company and all products, the positioning strategy and execution of bringing them to market, also developing the "Funkin" marketing strategy for all on and off-trade channels. It was my role to manage Funkin's PR, creative and digital marketing agencies.To maintain our strong position in the drinks industry and open new business, Funkin hosted and exhibited at many annual events such as Taste of London, Imbibe Live, BBC Good Food and bespoke cocktail competitions. It was my responsibility to create the settings, strategy and communication behind all events.
