Junior Manager - Strategic Sourcing
CurrentJob responsibilities - Costing and Sourcing Role :-1) Zero based costing for Sheet Metal & Aluminium components and Tooling settlement with suppliers2) Should Costing, Vendor Development, RFQ Analysis, Part Cost Settlement, ECN Impact & Saving Calculation3) Conceptualizing plans for strategic sourcing of Sheet Metal Parts like Brackets, Cross Members, Bus Body Panels, RUPD, FUPD, Exhaust Manifold Bracket, Door Hinges, Driver Door, Passenger Door etc4) Cost Reduction by various levers like Yield improvement, Process optimization, Alternate Sourcing, VAVE, Localization, Actualization, Feasibility analysis, Vehicle BOM comparison & verification5) RM Inflation/Deflation settlement with suppliers in line with market trend & contractual prices6) Identifying new suppliers based on technical guidelines for New Product development and cost efficiency7) Negotiating with Suppliers in accordance with the techno commercial contractual terms & conditions8) Supplier visits for Process verification, Benchmarking and Idea generationJob responsibilities - NPD Buyer/Vendor Development & Cost Reduction ECN Implementation Role :-1) Execute timely development of new parts, in order to meet various model events for smooth project launches2) Cost reduction initiatives - Leap/Lead ideas, Savings at design stages for new parts, in order to enhance profitability3) Exploring New Technologies Suppliers to achieve competitive advantage in market4) Identification & new source development on a/c of Multi sourcing/ Alternate Sourcing/ Global Sourcing/ Rationalization/ Risk Management5) Sheet metal components like - CR & HR R/M Brackets, Cross Member Assy, Truck & Bus weld cowls assy, BIW parts, Truck cargo body panels & tubes6) Design freeze and part development to meet model event requirements in order to ensure timely product launch7) Leading for drawing specification review meeting along with supplier, designer & finalize Tooling.8) ECN/Revision Implementation As Per Time SLA
