As the Group Lead at Eisai, I lead a team of scientists in the chemistry research division, where we develop and manage efficient and robust processes for the synthesis of small molecule drug candidates. With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, I have successfully delivered multiple projects from feasibility to commercialization, working closely with internal and external stakeholders across discovery, development, manufacturing, and regulatory functions.My core competencies include end-to-end project management, technical transfer to CMOs, oversight of cGMP manufacture, adherence to quality standards, representation on CMC teams, vendor and budget management, drafting and reviewing technical and regulatory documents, and utilizing process development tools such as PAT, DoE, and QbD. I am passionate about applying my expertise in organic chemistry, CMC drug substance, and process optimization to advance Eisai's mission of improving the lives of patients and their families through innovation and excellence.
