About Jayesh Sheth
Dr Jayesh Sheth is a well known Geneticist of India. He is a pioneer of endocrine and genetics services in Gujarat. His main work is on thyroid disorders, Reproductive endocrinology and Genetics. He is the pioneer of lysosomal storage disorder study in India and as a member of ICMR task force his work on Storage disorders has provided many new insights in this metabolic storage disease group. He is currently a member of WHO task force on birth defects and also a one of the centres for India's rare disease registry of ICMR. HE has founded Foundation For Research in genetics and Endocrinology known as FRIGE in 1996 together with Dr Frenny Sheth and also established Institute of Human Genetics in Ahmedabad. He has trained AND guided several students for PhD, MD and trained 450 biotech students at FRIGE.
