Youth for Seva (YFS), founded in April 2007, is a nationwide volunteering movement that inspires youth to volunteer, and provides them with meaningful opportunities to serve the community. The goal of YFS is to support schools, destitute shelters, government hospitals and other organizations in the social sector through volunteers who can help them mitigate some of their shortcomings and challenges. Volunteering is made easy and customized to the individual’s interests, time availability and skill sets. YFS focus areas are Health, Education, Livelihood and Environment.As a Corporate consultant, my role stands for involving corporate employees in various volunteering activities , which makes themselves connect with Community needs and how corporates can extend their hands to fulfill those needs.

During my tenure as a counselor at the migrat project, I Played the role of providing counseling to the migrant people for their care and protection from HIV/AIDS/STI. Also regular assessment of work of 8 outreach workers, conducting internal training to the staff. Regular visits to 5 ICTC centres and ART centres for follow up of HIV patients.
