• Supervised the procurement of Imported/Indigenous Equipments for ongoing prestigious projects & manufacturing plants.• Leading and managing the procurement function on behalf of the Organization and related entities. Responsible for total expenditure cycle & Project Procurement activities. Some of the goods & services handled are : Machinery-Capital Capex, Robotic Welding System, Laser Cutting Machine, Cut to Length, Angle Straightening, Roll Forming, CNC Press Break, CNC Shearing, Material Handling, Cranes, Forklift, Storage Racking systems, Roller Conveyors, Fire Fighting System, Air Piping Systems, Gas Piping system, Hydraulic system, GI Sheets/Galvalume, SS Plates, Chequered plates, Pipes, Fittings, Angles, Channels, Motors, Pumps, Bearings, Valves, Tanks, Grease Lubrication System, Lubrication System, IT - Spares / Services / Consumables, AMC Contract, Erection Contract, Electrical Automation Systems, Blowers and Fans, Belts, Power Cables Instrumentation, Maintenance, Hoses, Hydraulic Pipe Fittings, Flanges and Pipe Clamps, Pipe Fittings, Switchgear Components, Wire Ropes, Chains, etc.• Skillfully supervise Global Sourcing & Vendor Development - assess the performance of the vendors based on various criterions viz. quality improvement rate, timely delivery and credit terms, etc.• Undertake VA/VE (Value Analysis & Engineering) initiatives at the supplier’s end to reduce the cost of rejection of material supplied.

Developing and implementing the commercial strategy for the business. Developing the commercial processes in the organization both on the Revenue & Cost side. Understanding the value drivers of the business and identifying profitable commercial opportunities to grow revenue and market share. Collating and analyzing business data pertaining to all commercial activities. Ensuring that all commercial activities meet or improve on budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets (Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)) in line with business objectives. Ensuring all Vendor Contracts and Commercial agreements are aligning with Company Policies. Develop and implement criteria to guide in the selection of commercial contracts and strategic partners based on company strategy. Observing, complying and assessing all company SOPs. Reviewing and assessing the potential to develop strategic partnerships with specialists. Assessing the risks to the business of any new commercial opportunities. Communicating with all major stakeholders (internal and external) to achieve business objectives.

• Supervised the procurement of Imported/ Indigenous Equipments for on-going prestigious project of Cold Rolling Mills & Process Lines for Steel Industry.• Leading and managing the procurement function on behalf of the Organization and related entities. Responsible for total expenditure cycle & Project Procurement activities for Cold Steel Rolling Plants, Process lines, Chemical Processes, Thermal Processes and Automation equipments for Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Steel Industries. • Skillfully supervise Global Sourcing & Vendor Development - assess the performance of the vendors based on various criterions viz. quality improvement rate, timely delivery and credit terms etc.• Undertake VA/VE (Value Analysis & Engineering) initiatives at supplier’s end to reduce cost of rejection of material supplied.Selected Accomplishments• Instrumental in Reverse Auction of Raw materials, Disposal of Scrap and achieved savings of 7% to 10% • Successfully completed- 2- Cold Rolling Mills & 3- Process Lines projects for Steel Industry.• Oversaw rate contracts for standard items like Bearings-Auxilliary, Plummer Blocks and accessories (Std & Non Std), Fixed Speed Motors, Hydraulic Pipe Fittings , Flanges and Pipe Clamps, Pneumatic/Grease Pipe Fittings, Spray Nozzles, Switchgear Components, Valves, , Gear Coupling, site contracts an recorded savings of 7% to 10%.• Arranged vendor meet for developing partnership approach with Green Channel Vendors for effective price sharing and rationalization at sales stage only for booking new orders.• Instrumental in handling Follow-up System for External Agency for monitoring timely deliveries at site and successfully achieved 75% to 80% on time deliveries at site.

Rose USA), Ring Plus Aqua Ltd. and all Plants under Engineering Division. • Knowledge of latest machining processes, Heat Treatment & Surface Coating etc.• Have developed precision engineered components on conventional or CNC machines at vendor’s works (for Press Tools, Starter Gears, Water Pump Bearings, ), in close association / liaison with Vendors. Undertake quality audits & rating – for Supplier Quality Improvement.• Ensure timely delivery of the items at site and oversee inventory control for stock items like HRSP/CRCA Sheets, C45, File Steel, EN8D Bars/Rods/Wires, SAE 52100 Bars/Tubes & HSS.• Skillfully supervise Global Sourcing & Vendor Development - assess the performance of the vendors based on various criterions viz. quality improvement rate, timely delivery and credit terms etc.• Undertake VA/VE (Value Analysis & Engineering) initiatives at supplier’s end to reduce cost of rejection of material supplied.
