As the Research and Insights Manager for Comedy Central, MTV, MTV Base, BET, Nickelodeon, Nick JR, and Nick Toons in South Africa and the Rest of Africa, I held a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and enhancing the performance of these renowned brands. My responsibilities extended to collaborating closely with all departments to ensure cohesive efforts and maximize brand impact. Additionally, I managed two Online Communities, which served as the primary sources for both quantitative and qualitative insights.Achievements:• Received the Respect award at the annual company offsite, voted by all employees, aligning with Paramount Africa's core values.• Maintained MTV Base as the number one music channel in South Africa and Nigeria, further widening the gap between our brand and the closest competitor.• As the lead on social media monetization for Africa, achieved the highest monetization figure in the EMEA region.
