As Comptroller, I oversee and direct finance related activities at the College including accounting, cash management, grant accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, purchasing and contract administration for the College.

At Black Hawk College, as Vice President I attended monthly Board of Trustee public meetings and made regular presentations. Topics included discussion of the financial position of the College, adoption of the annual budget, adoption of the tax levy and issuance of capital financing just to name a few. I am also very familiar with generally accepted accounting principles and working closely with independent auditors.
