Since 2019, Hicks has served as the Chief Strategist for Jay F. Hicks, Inc., a boutique sports, lifestyle and digital strategy agency. He founded the Sports Creatives Podcast in April of 2017 (in which he hosts), later forming a partnership with AthleticDirectorU to create a co-branded podcast focusing on topics related to creative, social, and digital initiatives targeting senior leadership in college athletics. Prior to his current roles, Hicks most recently led digital strategy and content development, including the content calendar, for Baylor Athletics. Prior to his time with the Bears, he served as Director of New Media at KWTX News 10. Hicks earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business from Baylor University, where he competed as a track & field student-athlete.
