Manage the day-to-day operations of the ITS division with responsible for the definition of the strategic direction of all information processing and communication systems and operations. Provides overall management and direction of all technical support and end user technology activities within GCSoM including responsibility for providing a leadership role in the online learning system (LMS) and technical guidance to the curriculum departments.Management of academic services department in supporting the educational mission of the College and to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, and support innovation in research, scholarship, teaching and learning.Responsible to design, maintain and deploy software applications to meet user and business needs with a focus on applications that can be used within a web browser; to write code to interconnect different unrelated systems using ETL and data warehousing systems; to make applications to access multiple data sources allowing for display and input to each of these sources from a single page / interfaces using TIBCO Japsersoft. Created tools to assist with data discovery & collaboration between faculty and school administration. Used Web API/Services to synchronize data between Canvas, the Learning Management System ( LMS ) and the Student Information System ( SIS ). Used agile processes to lead projects across departments.Active in the BHI advisory committee and co-chair of the BHI Information and Tools workgroup. This group works with community partners on solutions for the behavioral health needs of northeastern and north central Pennsylvania through services, educational programs and transdisciplinary research with a focus on leveraging technology and social media as an outreach medium. Developed the public service website www.healthmindsnepa.org to provide a search function of behavioral health providers in northeastern and north central Pennsylvania.
