My main responsibility within this role is to onboard new clients into our Integrated Global Systems (IGS) managed services. I generally work with the client to discover what the environment is like and what components are involved that we will be managing. I am the first account created and it is my job to onboard the devices and services in the contract scope.This role exposes me to pretty much every different type of setup you can think of. I have successfully onboarded Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, on-prem, and all sorts of hybrid infrastructure. Transitioning all types of clients to a fully managed third-party IT solution comes with all sorts of challenges but the goal here is planning, discovery, onboarding, and execution.

This role has me directly in charge of the entire IT department. This includes third party vendors, employees, and outsourced contractors. As the IT Director it’s my job to direct and support our existing and future environments while meeting key business requirements. I am responsible for developing and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by the business.As the manager of the entire IT world this role has allowed me to make key technical decisions based on my skillset and create a new IT roadmap for how we are to be successful going forward. The main goal of this role is to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time and specifications of the business.

Accountable for oversight of the operations and routine maintenance of the Ferus IT Infrastructure. I was primarily responsible for asset and capacity management as well as tier 3 level service desk escalations related to infrastructure services. It was also my job to review and identify patterns and trends requiring capacity adjustments, root cause analysis or problem management, and participation in new technology adaptation and identification.I was a responsible for our full migration from our datacenter into a full cloud based environment. This role allowed me to run the network at Ferus with my own vision and my own ideas. I was solely in charge of release management as well as implementation and integration of new technologies that function within our existing processes.

Accountable for all aspects of the Incident and Service Request Management processes and the routine maintenance of Ferus’ IT Infrastructure. Responsible for the identification, validation and implementation of new technologies as required by the organization. I worked inside of multiple job roles, often needing to take projects from start to finish. This included BA work to determine business needs, design work and build out of the infrastructure needed to complete the project, user testing and adoption of the project, and final documentation of design and functionality of the work completed. I acted as the queue manager for all incoming project and service requests to a team of 5 people. This included triaging tickets and a weekly review of ticket stats to be brought forward at team meetings.

Served as a technician to the public. Dealt with any hardware, software or user related problems that were presented. Ran a service based business that included a team of 10 technicians that were my direct reports. Responsible for scheduling my team for weekly shifts and maintaining our head count and hours within our allotted budgets
