I am growing two companies, Millson Technologies and Millson Custom Solutions. We are launching our products and services outside of our home market in Vancouver BC. As CIO of two growing companies, I manage finance, IT, legal, HR and anything else that needs doing. My consulting company CoreFlow built custom project management and workflow solutions for a number of clients.Prior to founding CoreFlow, Jay was involved in several startup groups within Microsoft over 15 years there. His expertise was in developing new product strategies, starting new teams and building products from initial concepts through the challenging early releases. Jay believes that clear vision, challenging goals and the right team will result in breakthrough innovation and growth. At Microsoft, Jay drove the development of the first release of Encarta Encyclopedia then its expansion to a world-class international product suite and online service. He helped build a global team that delivered award-winning products on time and on budget world-wide. Part of another significant start-up team, Jay was responsible for web site development, release management and sustained engineering for the Transpoint Internet Bill Presentment and Payment service. Most recently, Jay was a founding member of the Windows eHome Division that delivered Windows Media Center Edition and the Media Center Extender. Throughout his career at Microsoft Jay was relentless about shipping high-quality products on schedule while making teams stronger in the process. Jay received his BASc of Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and was the Engineering Student President in his senior year.
