Up until the recent news,I have worked hard to move from being a part time sales advisor to team leader and visual merchandiser, which has now become a very involved job due to working closer with the team on Topshop, and also working on their shop floor also. In this role, I have the task of delegating with the team all relevant new information past down from management and also our staff app, Tapp, and also making sure that whoever Im working with is up to date with whats happening that day (whether its visual merchandising, delivery etc) I have loved taking on more responsibility of how the shop floor looks via the seasonal set up guides and new season launches which have really brought the team closer together and work as a team to create the visions that have been shown to us. I have also now worked towards personal and store KPI’s steadily such as increasing out ATV and our OIS/E-receipt records and I feel that I have really matured and grown since taking on this position. Further with the financial paperwork, I have also been entrusted with carrying out the daily financial analysis paperwork, and focusing more on the more administrative side of merchandising such as loss prevention, stock levels, worst sellers etc and feeding back with both my area manager and stock accounting team to feedback what our key customer is looking for/shopping for and how we can improve these numbers with help from the main delivery warehouse. Since focusing more on these, I’ve seen our ATV increase, worst seller lines become some of our strongest lines and also feeling more confident about the product I sell and what customers can expect to see come in. Im also main key holder and trusted with handling the end of day computer system which includes money counting, bag seals and shutting the store.
