Managed relationships with prospective students, parents, teachers and administrators in high schools for the purposes of student recruitment. Responsibilities included bilingual classroom and school-wide presentations as well as organization and facilitation of large-scale events and information sessions across Ontario as well as in the Montreal and Vancouver markets. Skills required in this position include; public speaking, client relations, event management and mass marketing and communications. - Presented to over 8000 students and parents - Built positive relationships with teachers and administrators in over 85 schools from 20 school boards in 3 provinces- Increased student applications in assigned markets by 25% over 2 years

Oversaw all planning and operations related to spectator experience for the Richmond Olympic Oval. Responsibilities included staff training and ongoing coaching, management of all guest services and team management of both paid staff and volunteers. Collaborated with external partners in order to develop and deliver consistent and effective communications regarding event information, transportation and security. Skills required in this position include; employee training, communication strategizing, client relations, human resources management and employee motivation. - Trained 800+ volunteers and paid staff in the areas of: service excellence, communications, leadership, safety, policies and procedures and event operations.- Scored a 96% excellence rating based on trainee evaluations.- Managed multicultural team of 250 staff

As the ship’s ambassador and director of entertainment, served as liaison between the various onboard departments and the guests. Orchestrated and executed various marketing and communication initiatives related to the promotion of onboard events and services. Managed all onboard entertainment, including; production shows, events, live music, and broadcasting. Skills gained in this role include: marketing strategy, public relations, public speaking, service excellence, task prioritization, and human resources management. - Trained, coached and managed an entertainment team of 50 staff in day-to-day cruise operations.- Organized and hosted several daily events and shows around the ship for as many as 2000 guests, working cohesively with other departments to ensure the highest quality of service was being delivered.- Responsible for developing and advertising the daily printed materials, which detailed all promotions, events, services, entertainment, and general ship information.- Routinely ranked among the top Cruise Directors in the fleet (often the top-ranking), based on numerical ratings, as well as verbal and written feedback.
