As a Store Manager of our CAA Retail location, I am responsible for the financial success of the store, and maximizing sales and profitability by identifying and delivering on opportunities for growth, develop and execute the store’s annual business plan and be involved in the hiring and retaining of talented Associates.I also provided critical leadership for Associates acting as a role-model and CAA Ambassador. Responsibilities: -Multi-Unit field operations where weekly stores visits and audits were conducted on a district ranging from 9 to 15 locations.-Oversaw the set-up of new locations as well as store renovations working in conjunction with various contractors, landlords and inspectors.-Building and developing store teams-Ensuring compliance with visual merchandising, merchandising standards and planograms-Maximizing sales; Exceeding productivity targets-Human Resources and Organizational development-Implementing Action Plans and Performance Improvement Programs-Employee Conflict Mediation and Resolution-Budgeting and forecasting; Managing shrink, store expenses, payroll and inventory levels.-Provided outstanding customer service; resolving customer concerns and complaints.Accomplishments: Guided Store Managers in the execution of corporate directives and operational best practices in regards to store appearance/housekeeping, inventory receiving and management, visual merchandising, product placement, time management and needs based scheduling. This resulted in the district achieving its sales and productivity targets each year for 9 consecutive years. The district also saw a decline in shrink by 1%.Coached Store Managers in effective techniques for identifying, interviewing, recruiting, retaining and cultivating top talent resulting in a lower than company average for employee turnover rate.Mentored Store Managers in the daily performance feedback process for their teams ensuring objectivity, quality and consistency.
