Jay was named Vice President, Operations for Fortusis, LLC in October 2017 upon their acquisition of the domestic print brands owned by ICED, Inc. He joined the ICED family in 1989 and was named president of the ICED print brands and Parcel Plus in October 2009. Fortusis is based in Utah, while Jay oversees the Operations team and wholesale print division in Houston. Jay was on the original launch team for KKBC after managing key support staff for the center locations. He has been instrumental in developing and facilitating the focus groups/best practices initiatives used by owners as a springboard to more efficient operations. Over the years Jay has spent a good deal of time in the field working with hundreds of center owners on all aspects of their business, which has honed his expertise in business planning and financial analysis. Jay’s knowledge of center workflow has allowed him to be instrumental in the layout and design for new and existing locations. His years of working with owners has given him a strong knowledge of copiers, leasing plans, and pricing modalities. Jay also keeps current with all OSHA and EPA regulations affecting the franchise family. Jay is that rare breed – a native Houstonian. He likes to read and enjoys outdoor activities with his rescue dog Iggie – appropriately named because he was found in an abandoned Igloo cooler. One of the things Jay likes most about his work is there always seems to be a new challenge. He focuses on the basics with center owners to help them build a strong foundation, with his goal is to provide the best possible customer service to the franchise owners.===========================Fortusis, LLC is the franchisor for franchise brands Kwik Kopy Printing, Kwik Kopy Business Centers, The Ink Well, Franklin’s Printing, and American Wholesale Thermographers.
