Opening and Closing the Store/Facility:Opening: Ensure the store is ready for operation, including unlocking doors, turning on lights, setting up registers, etc.Closing: Secure the store at the end of the day by locking doors, shutting down systems, and activating alarms.2. Supervisory Role:Act as the person in charge when the manager is not present.Oversee other staff members, ensuring productivity and adherence to store policies.Handle any customer service issues or employee disputes that arise in the manager's absence.3. Customer Service:Address customer queries, complaints, and requests.Handle escalated situations when regular staff cannot resolve them.4. Cash Management:Open or close cash registers and ensure they are balanced.Handle bank deposits and prepare cash for the next business day.5. Security:Ensure the store is secure during operating hours and after closing.Set alarms and monitor for potential security breaches or theft.6. Inventory Management:Assist in inventory control, restocking, and managing product displays.Participate in receiving shipments and ensure accurate stock counts.7. Sales and Operations:Support daily sales goals and operational procedures.Ensure that the store meets or exceeds company performance standards, including cleanliness, organization, and customer experience.8. Team Leadership:Provide guidance, support, and coaching to other employees.Delegate tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly throughout the shift.9. Administrative Duties:May be responsible for completing paperwork, reports, or store audits.Keep accurate records of sales, attendance, and any incidents that occur during their shift.10. Health and Safety:Ensure that health and safety protocols are followed, both by customers and staff.Report any hazards or incidents immediately to upper management.
