Little did we know that his work as a volunteer would project us into new territory! Since 2010, Jay has managed the PR for the last three events. Responsibilities include drafting key talking points, press releases, story ideas, building media relationships, and managing social media. In an election year we garnered lots of great media thanks to Jay! This year, he helped to re-position the tour as "the most unique home tour" in the Valley, which helped drive greater awareness. Over the past year we've doubled our Facebook following and garnered more press than any year past. And, even after the Tur is over, he continues to manage the TDC Facebook page to drive engagement that keeps the VPA and tour top of mind.
