We are experience is a service design consultancy that makes a tangible difference by developing innovative products and services that connect with the modern-day consumer. My role at WAE is to be a UX generalist, to adapt to client and project needs as required. Working mostly onsite with clients such as Transport for London, Zurich and Cineworld as a consultant, we work collaboratively both to the design brief provided but more often to help define the brief for better user experiences. My role can start within the research stage that help inform the sketching of ideas through to high fidelity Axure prototypes to be tested within usability labs. My role as UX designer for Perform Sports Media was based at their central London office. Perform commercialises multimedia sports content across internet-enabled digital platforms.My objective was to embed a user-centred design process for an online sports experience, in particular the football industry. Working closely with brands such as the New York Cosmos, Chelsea FC, Al Jazeera, the Premier League and Leeds United to name a few, my aim is to create experience closer aligned to the needs of the end users. As each project has differing timing constraints, I am drawing upon a varied range of UCD techniques to gain user insights. These include the use of online analytics for quantitative research and engaging with user via online surveys for qualitative research. Working across devices such as web, mobile, tablet and IpTV for mostly Video on Demand products as well as data visualisations for the wealth of sporting data collected and distributed by Perform.

My role as software designer is based BBC's Broadcast Centre in White City within their UX&D team.My core responsibility is a total redesign of one of the BBC's core CMS applications, iSite. The application itself powers many high profile sites, these include Blogs, Programmes, CBBC, CBeebies, Worldwide and Corporate. To do this effectively, it involves working closely with key stakeholders, project managers, business analysts and development teams. This also requires a huge amount of both quantitive and qualitative testing from users who depend on this software to do their jobs effectively. The role also requires providing information architecture and user analysis on our partner analytics software provided by ComScore to help enhance the corporations use of online data. This allows the BBC to effectively make core business decisions based on data metrics.Also during my time as a software designer, I worked closely with BBC News looking at their current systems for breaking news via their 3 output platforms (TV, Radio and Online). This involved an analysis of the users, processes and software involved and then providing concept work on systems which would improve the overall user journey.

For 3 and half years I worked at ImageNet, which is part of Paragon Print & Packaging portfolio of studios. My role there required me to build artwork based on design files received from external agencies and to also build design/artwork files based on corporate guidelines provided by Asda. The role also required me to liaise directly with administrative staff based at Asda’s head office in Leeds and create our own guidelines, which is in turn shared amongst a team of 6 other brand artworkers. Timescales and deadlines are very short, therefore we are required to produce artwork at high speeds and high levels of accuracy (both corporately and technically).

This role also required me to build masters / templates that were to be used by other artwork houses.
