Fully owned by Telecom Corporation of New Zealand, AAPT was Australia's 3rd largest Telecommunications company. My role there was to design and implement innovative sales training and coaching programmes to drive organic sales growth, staff and team development and leadership development using the principles of NLP and Neuro Semantics (cognitive behavioural pshychology). These programs were implemented through the SME Business channels, the Consumer Division and the inbound Contact Centre Groups. My scope also covered training and coaching our external door to door and outbound telesales channels.Because of the outstanding results achieved, these programmes remain the at the very core of sales and development in the SME and Consumer groups of AAPT.

From the beginning of 2000 through to May 2005, I was in the role of National Retail Sales Manager for Cellular One, which became an AAPT company, which then merged with Telecom NZ. Throughout my time in this role, our Retail Channel became the largest and most powerful independent retail channels in Australian Telecommunications (Mobile). My role here included channel development, strategy and sales growth of Post and Pre paid Mobile products, Internet and Fixed-wire services.My focus was on my team delivering the best customer service within the industry. Our dealers became the most loyal and profitable independent network in the country.

Kerfone Services was Vodafone Australia's first appointed Mobile Service Provider. I was responsible for the complete development of the distribution strategy, subsequent implementation and ultimate management of the direct and retail sales teams.
