The Chicago Hounds was a Professional Hockey club in the UHL. At then end of the first season, they were not able to renew the contract with the venue they where located at.In January 2007, with a lack of fan support for a new team, several season ticket holders convened to form the organization. I was voted as the first President of the organization. Our highlights where having a table at each game with merchandise for sale. That money was used to put treats/snacks on the bus for the players. To hold two parties with the team. And, when we disbanded we donated the money to Puck Cancer an organization that raises money to fight cancer, and the Hoffman Estate Jaycees which utilized the money to increase 2 student scholarships.I was involved with all aspects of this club from formation to closure.
