I have been employed at Barnsley College now for nearly 3 years. I began my career here through an agency and started as a Student Support Worker. I was successful in an interview when a vacancy became available for a Full Time Contract Support Staff position. Later, I was again successful in yet another interview when our department expanded to employ Specialist Advisors. On the 19 April, 2010 I became the Specialist Advisor for Physical Disabilities in our Additional Learning Support Department. I work with 4 other Advisors and we all make an outstanding team! I love the work I do. It is very rewarding to me.
