I have been working in mental health since 2016, always on my quest for helping others navigate the roller coaster that is the human experience. I started working inpatient which helped me find my love for mental health. From there, I finished my Bachelor's (after a very long journey) and went immediately into my Master's program 2 weeks later. I was a practicum student that saw so much of community mental health while also observing inpatient drug and alcohol treatment. I then ended up doing my internship and my post-grad career within the private practice world and have never looked back. Doing the work with my clients brings me so much joy. "Doing the work" can look so different for each client. The work is messy. The work is difficult. The work is also very beautiful, healing, incredible to watch. The work turns the "light" back on, seeing that at the end of the tunnel. The work repairs relationships, sure, but mainly within yourself. I love watching the growth happen and always feel honored when someone seeks me out. Being a therapist is an honor and a privilege -- I tell this to every client. I love what I do, I love helping others, and my plan is continue to do just that - provide love, care, and safety for my clients to feel comfortable to do the work.
