Competition & Venue Manager
CurrentFootballFix is an organization that organizes amateur football leagues and tournaments for all ages. They aim to run professional and well-organized football competitions in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. I will be working as a competition manager, hosting single day football tournaments and week long leagues. My role is to oversee all stages of the competition, which includes, but is not limited to, the following: - team registration- allocating teams into the correct divisions based on a grading system- devising the competition schedule - Record keeping (match results, league/competition standing- managing payments, disputes, and/or rule violations and disciplinary actions- venue coordination and set up (staff, equipment, catering)- Officials/referee management Additionally, I will be conducting research as to how the company can expand their pick up football system within the city. This system was created for football fans who aren't able to commit to a club or wish to only play games, therefore moving away from the traditional sense of how amateurs approach playing organized football.
