Follow established procedures and guidelines to process and maintain accounting records. Perform accounting support activities such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue, cash receipts, daily cash reports, and bank deposits. Post to ledger accounts, reconcile accounts, execute adjustments, and prepare financial statements. Determine proper handling of accounting and technical transactions within designated limits. Report discrepancies. Check documentation validity and accuracy, perform mathematical calculations. Enter data into computer systems, process transactions and update accounts. Monitor ledger, assuring that records are complete and accounts are current. Update, correct, retrieve and respond to information requests within scope of authority.
