Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree at New York University School of Individualized Study. My concentration is sustainable entrepreneurship focused in nutrition and the plant-based food industry. From nutrition and health to environmental science and politics to social justice and ethics, to, finally, innovations and marketing perspectives, veganism involves multiple fields of study that are interconnected and interdependent. My goal for my curriculum is to first deeply understand the motivations, stigmas, and ideologies concerning veganism, through a cultural, religious, and historical lens. Secondly, understand the physical effects of veganism and sustainability initiatives. Lastly, in our consumer society, big businesses are at the forefront of how we produce, operate, consume, and dispose of products. Our economy depends on it. My objective is to radically change the way people consume and view plant-based foods. By obtaining business, marketing, and public policy tools, I wish to promote these ideas in a real-world setting.
