At Cohen & Company, I am the primary contact for clients on a wide range of tax matters including federal, state and international taxation of financial instruments, accounting methods and product structures.I have more than 16 years of experience serving the investment management industry, focusing on tax issues of investment clients, including hedge funds, closed-end funds, open-end funds, exchange-traded funds, unit investment trusts, private investment funds, family partnerships, fund-of-funds and private equity funds.My prior experience includes a two-year international assignment in Hyderabad, India. While in India, I managed day-to-day operations and led professional development for approximately 120 tax professionals serving U.S. clients. I also drove process improvement efforts for approximately 2,000 Deloitte Tax professionals located in the India offices.
