I am the founder and CEO of PatientWay, an innovative Ottawa-based company that is obsessed with helping the healthcare sector. PatientWay's software helps hospitals and clinics reduce errors, eliminate line-ups and lower administrative costs. PatientWay is proven to deliver both cost savings and improved patient experience.Blending a passion for information management and healthcare, my post-secondary studies started with two years of pre-med and concluded with computer science at the University of Waterloo. My work career has taken me to a hospital IT department, a scientific information publisher in the US, a mid-sized software publisher, and contract software development for 6 Canadian federal agencies. Acting on my vision to create a solid & long-lasting Canadian software company, I have concentrated my focus on the development of software for the healthcare industry. Fuelling this vision is a sense of satisfaction in helping those who need the healthcare system by enabling systemic improvements.I am a recipient of the Ottawa Business Journal's Forty under 40 Award in 2009, Industry Canada Innovation Leader also in 2009, and Chair of the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) Path to Recognition (PTR) National Steering Committee.
