Global Flag Football League Board Chairman Jason "Jay" Lawrence is the founder of the Global Flag Football League. Injured in a car accident in 1996, just 21 days before his 21st birthday, he has fought against the odds and The voice that might tell him to give up and has seen success in both his professional and philanthropic life. In 2008, Lawrence founded Florida Stingrays Football and Cheer, a nonprofit football, cheerleading, and community outreach program for adults focused on providing opportunities for adults while affecting local charities in the community. Over 15 years the Florida Stingrays won over 150 games including 2 division championships, 3 conference championships, and a state championship as well but, it was the work off the field with Foster children and charity organizations like, Toys For Tots, that really stood out in the Stingrays organization. Lawrence has had his story shared in a trio of books over the years Including THE POWER OF UGLY:Undeserved Grace. Unexpected Beauty andJOB: MY UGLY PRIEST:Discovering the Heart of God in Job. Both books were written by Lawrence's pastor of over 30 years at the Cape Vineyard Church in Cape Coral Florida, Pastor James "Jamie" Stilson. His story was also featured in the book, PULLING EACH OTHER ALONG a collection that features Inspirational Works of 31 Chapter Authors including Lawrence.
