Dedicated to addressing the unique experiences of individuals from diverse backgrounds and making a positive impact in the mental health field. 🔍 Experience: I have worked in both residential and outpatient settings to provide treatment for mental health and substance use populations. As a mental health outpatient intern, I gained experience in assessment, group therapy, and providing individualized treatment for a client caseload.🌈 Values: I value mental health care that is inclusive, empowering, and tailored to the needs of each individual. In therapy, I strive to create an environment where clients can navigate their journey toward personal growth and authenticity.📚 Research Interests: My research interests include trauma, integrating feminist and multicultural perspectives, and exploring the experiences of minority discrimination and stigma. My master’s capstone project focused on a feminist approach to complex trauma treatment with women.
