I coordinate media enquiries, activities and advice across council; coordinate the development and implementation of communication plans, build a positive reputation for council; partner with managers, employees and virtual communications officers to identify, develop and implement communication, events and other related activities; coordinate creative copy across a broad range of communication tools; coordinate the development and maintenance of professional relationships with the media, corporate sponsors, external marketing and communication professionals, community groups and agencies. I deliver an integrated communication and marketing strategy for new projects and service launches. I work closely with council officers, the project team, the project contractor and sub-contractors and stakeholders.
