Profile bio

About Jaylon Romine

Citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation of Oklahoma. I am a recent Tribal University graduate seeking to apply to law school in the fall of 2024. All throughout my college education, I have been focused on tribal sovereignty and improving the mental health and well-being of my tribal community on our reservation in eastern Oklahoma. I want to become a licensed attorney for my tribal Nation so that I can help my Mvskoke community recover from the affects of colonization through proper self-governance. I also want to work on local, state, and federal legislation that improves mental health access for underserved populations, like the American Indian/Alaskan Native communities across the United States.
