I feel that Insurance is a confusing expense but most consider it a necessary evil. Having been in the business for over 30 years, I have seen an insurance policy make someone extremely happy after a loss and I have heard of cases where someone was not happy after an event. To me the difference is always Education. Either the insurance agent was not educated enough to know the client and the risk potential, or the agent did not educate the client properly on how the insurance policy works. I am one of just 7% of insurance agents in the US that hold a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. I share my knowledge with my staff and several of them are now working towards their CIC designation too. I share my knowledge with our clients and with potential clients too. The CIC Program requires me to take a 2 day course each year which is filled with the latest changes and newest insurance protections. Our clients, whether Personal Lines or Commercial Lines, feel Peace of Mind when they purchase their insurance from us. You should too!If you own your own home or condominium, do you know what your insurance policy covers and do you meet your coinsurance requirement? You should. If you own or lease your automobile, do you know if you have protection if you get hit by an uninsured driver? You should. If you own a business, do you know how many workers you can employ before Workers Compensation is a requirement? You should. If you have an insurance policy and are not sure of what it covers, please feel free to contact me so I can help you understand the coverage and any gaps. Or if you simply want to feel Peach of Mind when it comes to insurance, please let me know.
