Provide direction to and supervise full time, part time and volunteer staff, including selecting, monitoring, training, scheduling and determining work loads Assist with hiring, disciplinary and evaluation processes Assist in the development, recommendation and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards Print and review weekly event schedule to ensure set ups are done correctly throughout the facility Responsible for scheduling 45 members of a unionized staff on a weekly basis, including occasionally coordinating and scheduling work for temporary staff Enforce health and safety standards to comply with health and safety codes and building codes Responsible for inventorying and ordering supplies, equipment and materials Report building deficiencies to property managers Coordinate and lead staff meetings, including daily pre-service meetings and weekly management meetings Complete billing for group event contracts Investigate and respond to customer concerns in a timely manner Develop training booklets, information fact sheets, brochures, and newsletters, including determining content, layout, materials and distribution methods Experience with booking reservations, facility tours and facility rentals for customers, including providing information regarding permits and equipment Enforce policies and procedures to the public and staff Maintain files and budgets Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, subordinates, volunteers and the general public to convey information and to receive work direction
