 Ensuring that the day to day running and maintenance of all machinery of the bakery product line, from the premix machine to the oven through to the full crate stackers. Responsible for the end to end machine build and assembly of the Bakery Plant. Working 8 hour shifts, with 12 hour rotational shifts over weekends, as well as overtime as required. Ensuring that the power supply is in terms of regulatory standards to the machinery, electrical motors, control circuits from the main distribution box. All duties performed are in accordance with SOP’s and regulatory requirements including health and safety standards.

 Preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal machine efficiency and machine availability, as stipulated by service schedules and equipment or as per original equipment manufacturer specifications. Compliance with the occupational health and safety regulations to execute safe working duties on pumps, valves, vessels under pressure and boilers. Utilization of the 5WHY problem solving process in identifying root cause analysis of machine breakdowns, in order to prevent further breakdowns and effect machine and process improvements.
