As Senior Planner, Jayme has both program and project responsibilities at Genesee/Finger Lakes Regional Planning Council (G/FLRPC); a public organization that provides comprehensive planning support to a nine county region in Western New York. The goal of the organization is to foster coordination among neighboring counties and a regional approach to economic, environmental, and social concerns crossing local boundaries. G/FLRPC's primary program components include: Local, Regional and Water Resources Planning, Regional Economic Development Planning, and a Data, Technology, and Resource Center. Jayme's focus is water resources and historic preservation planning. She has developed and initiated new programs since her hiring in 2006 and has assisted in the continued success of established programs through project management, coordination, research and analysis, product development, stakeholder identification and facilitation, and delivery at presentations and meetings. Her development of the historic preservation planning program and assistance with community revitalization programs such as the Western Erie Canal Main Street Program was recognized by the New York State Historic Preservation Office in 2009 by receiving the New York Historic Preservation Award for Public Sector Achievement.

Jayme's work as an environmental planner concentrated on federal, state, and local wetland requirements and mitigation.

Jayme began her career at Dewberry with computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) and hazard mitigation analysis. She worked on the FEMA National Flood Insurance Program contract and participated in FEMA’s Public Assistance program during active hurricane seasons and the 2001 World Trade Center disaster.
