I am a student-centered educator looking to support student learning through a metacognitive approach. Helping students develop and understand how to recognize their level of learning through feedback and formative assessment. Students in my classroom develop ownership of their learning through real-world tasks that allow them to make connections to themselves and the world around them. My goal is to create students who can understand mathematics at a conceptual level that allows them to approach problems with an open mind to create problem-solvers who do not fear mathematics by leading them to see the beauty of Mathematics.
