Ever since I was a kid, I have been fond of sharing knowledge and dreaming of becoming an educator. From then on, I thought I would become a teacher. I did well in school, was a consistent honor student, and graduated as class valedictorian with journalism in co-curricular.During high school, I started to engage more with people and focused more on my talent which is performing. I joined different organizations to hone my talents and become one of the recognized performers in my school. Those experiences made me realize that my skills suit communications.I took Humanities and Social Sciences which I really enjoyed and felt I really am designed for social sciences and communications. My journey as an event host opened in my senior year. I even discovered my love for performing arts, particularly in musical theater and scriptwriting.I have also shown my passion for management, the reason why I got chosen to be the Campaign Manager of the MISMO Party. Some students were persuaded by my communication skills during the campaign and wondered why I didn't run for a position. Honestly, I don't think I am passionate about leading despite my innate leadership abilities. I even received a Best Team Leader Award during a school event. Regardless, those experiences strengthened my passion for communications.In college, I took the BS in Development Communications to hone my skills more. Apparently, I began to see myself in the field of science so I took a giant leap and shifted to BS in Meteorology, the degree I graduated with. My college life really opened doors of opportunity for me. I hosted several programs and events, and I still continue my passion for performing arts with TANGLAW-CLSU.But one of the highlights of my life would be the aftermath of Typhoon Ulysses last 2020. That event struck every aspect of my life from my interest in sharing knowledge, to my dedication to communication and public service, to research. From then, I founded the CLSU Atmospheric Society to serve people and to practice our profession. I even studied disaster risk for my thesis.Now, I can say that all the interests I had since I was a kid have to do something about the thing I am passionate about which is public service in the field of disaster preparedness. Still, there is still a part of me that wants to pursue film production which I will definitely do on the side.I have a pool of experiences in communications and science, and I am happy that I followed wherever my passion and interest took me to be exposed to various fields.
