Northern Forests Conservation Delivery Network Coordinator
CurrentI coordinate the Northern Forest Conservation Delivery Network as part of a collaborative position with American Bird Conservancy and the Upper Mississippi/Great Lakes Joint Venture. The focus of my work is collaborating with partners to leverage resources for landscape-scale migratory bird programs that are aligned with the Joint Ventures Landbird Habitat Conservation Strategy. I am based out of Wisconsin and work across Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, primarily in the boreal/hardwood transition of Bird Conservation Region (BCR) 12. Across this geography, I help network with folks for public agencies, nongovernmental offices, universities, commercial forest owners, and others to protect, restore, enhance and manage public and private forest sustainably. My focus is to ensure healthy habitats for populations of forest-dependent birds while embracing the many uses and benefits of forest lands.
