• Leads a team of Apotex employees and third party suppliers to deliver drug submissions for FDA, Health Canada and global regulatory approval.

• Strategize, assess and monitor the portfolio of bioequivalent studies within Apotex’s clinical division and Contract Research Organizations (CROs) by managing timelines, costs, benefits and risk.
• Managing direct reports including assignment of tasks, monitoring and measuring performance and providing training and guidance.
• Development of departmental and divisional policies, procedures and practices to ensure compliance with company objectives.

• Project planning and tracking objectives.
• Lead communication between the sponsor, CROs, management and biostudy project team members.
• Create and maintain project management files, including the use of Microsoft access databases and SAP project systems module.

• Develop new enzymatic procedures for analysis of potential drug compounds using a variety of lab equipment and techniques.
• Evaluate scientific literature for projects.
• Research potential suppliers for new equipment or materials, purchase lab supplies/reagents and update chemical inventory database.
