My main duties were to make sure the customers were happy, that there was plenty of stock behind the bar and that my staff knew how to provide great service. Key responsibilities included recruiting, training and motivating staff. Doing regular stock-takes and ordering as necessary. Handling deliveries. Maintaining the condition of beer and wineOverseeing or liaising with the kitchen. Keeping up to date with licensing legislation, liaising with the authorities and taking overall legal responsibility for the premises. Enforcing health and safety rules. Adhering to budgets, increasing profits and managing cashflow. Dealing with difficult customers

To take responsibility for both the bar and Theatre operation, including the smooth running of our monthly programme of live entertainment. Working closely with wholesalers and business representatives to acquire good deals on merchandise. Ensuring that the bar provides a high level of customer service to Theatre goers and the general public alike – equally that the bar is run efficiently and that its income/ profit potential is maximised. In additional all the behind the scenes duties to ensure a smoothly ran business; accountancy, staff training and development, money management, banking and anything else as required.

Education and Services for People with Autism:Providing a high standard of care for the service users, supporting them in the day to day running of their lives. Liaising with parents and social workers to communicate the best ways to promote self independence within the service user.

Overseeing the Theatre side of the business ensuring it runs efficiently. Duties include web optimization, administration, tending bar & kitchen support, marketing, script writing, directing, performing, casting, sound & lighting design, stage design, stage management, staff rotation, general maintenance and assembly & dis-assembly of set.
