She has a passion for storytelling and a knack for creative problem-solving. She has won multiple statewide film and photography competitions and received a scholarship from the Hawaii Association of Broadcasters. She has also worked as a documentary research intern at 60 Second Docs, developing pitches from subversive true stories.
