Completed Summer Research project on understanding how IoT devices can be used to establish cyber-attacks like Botnet. Also studied how modern ARM controllers utilize the TrustZone technology and tampering protection. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to understand the serial communication protocols CAN, I2C, SPI, JTAG and USB. Overall, my research ranged from the preliminary cyber-attacks like Stuxnet to advanced attacks like the use of smart devices, that do not have any software protection, to make a botnet and bring a whole server down by overloading it with cyber traffic.
